This is the first Christmas movie I watch as soon as the Christmas season hits. Will Ferrell is hilarious in this movie about a human that was raised by elves at the North Pole. He sets out to find and meet his birth father and encounters many funny situations along the way. Zooey Deschanel stars alongside Will Ferrell and plays the girl he meets while working at a department store over the Christmas holiday. The message of hope and the true meaning of love are seen throughout the movie' and Will Ferrell's sense of humor make this movie a hit.

Elf is one of my favorite christmas movies' as well as one of my favorite Will Farrell movies. It is a good family movie' unlike a lot of movies he tends to be in. There are so many classic lines in this movie that you'll be repeating over and over again. Plus who doesn't like a six foot tall elf! This movie is hilarious' an instant classic christmas movie. Also' Zooey Deschanel is in this movie. She is a fantastic actress and is very funny in this role. She also gets to show off her vocal talent while singing in the shower!

Very cute and funny Christmas movieGreat for kids but after a while it gets extremely annoyingGood for a once a year view at Christmas though

This is a hilarious Christmas movie. Will Ferrell plays this innocent child who gets adopted by a family of elves when he is young. He grows and yearns to find his real father' who is of course human. As he enters the human world' his interactions with his father' while also funny' kind of force us to step back and take a look at ourselves. The moral of this story is definiltely not to take life too seriously. And to enjoy some of the every day stuff that we are too busy to notice. Good movie.

I love this movie for Christmas and pretty much anytime of the year. It is so funny and it appeals to any age. Buddy is an elf that crawled into Santa's bag at the orphanage where he was being raised. He is then raised by santa's elves and thinks he is non human. He is told when he is thirty that he is a human and goes to find his real dad. It is so funny to see his excitement when santa comes into the department store. He exclaims I know him and jumps up and down. It is a inspiring story to many and makes the magic of Christmas real.
