Dexter is a rather unique crime drama shown on Showtime. Instead of the typical cop versus criminal fair' Dexter follows the story of an emotionally troubled forensic technician who turns into a serial killer. His victims? Those who have committed murder. The character claims to feel no emotion and chooses to fake normal human emotions and reactions to get by. As the series progresses' however' Dexter himself shows himself to be a emotionally crippled man who strives to suppress his emotions. He is almost a complete success. Almost.

This show is so disturbingly perfect and enticing! I love it so much. After all who couldn't love a serial killer who only kills murderers! the cast is fresh and good! I loved 6 feet under but in Dexter it was great to see him in a dark role but a new role. The cases are similar to CSI and other cop shows' but this takes it five million steps further :) I love that it is a showtime show because it isn't censored as much as basic cable. it's allowed to be darker and sexier. Such a great show! Most of my friends love it to pieces...we all love dexter!
